National World War I Museum

This project consisted of two jobs. The first was a design/build core job and the second was an exhibit lighting and A/V project. Overall, the $4.5 million project was completed with zero lost time incidents and 26,000 man hours.

Capital Electric Construction provided complete installation of lighting, a dimming system and audio/visual cabling for all exhibit components. We provided design/build services for the dimming system, which included 25 different plug-in circuit raceways for theater lighting, as well as 800 amps, three cabinets and 288 circuits. The A/V system included a complete UPS backup system for the command center. Lighting was provided for the house, theater, cases, objects, signs, scrims, artifacts, scenic elements and special effects. There were 67 unique types of lighting fixtures used and more than 1,200 feet of track was installed with 600 different heads.
