This developer-led, design-build, LEED Gold project consisted of three manufacturing buildings, a data center and an office building totaling more than 1.5 million square feet situated on a secure campus. The manufacturing buildings included clean rooms, low humidity areas, analytical laboratories, heavy machining, rubber and plastics, testing equipment, office space, hazardous locations, paint and inspection areas.
Johnson Controls was the IBMS, security and fire alarm designer and contractor for the entire complex, including the relocation from the existing Kansas City Plant.
Scope of work included furnishing conduit, cabling and installation labor for the following systems: building management and controls, fire alarm and security. Capital Electric performed installations for Johnson Controls in multiple buildings. Installation included IBMS control panels and devices. fire alarm devices, security access controls, UPS systems and cameras.
